Moïsa van Koot will also play for the Fortuna Women next season. The player with jersey number two made the switch from PEC Zwolle in 2022 and is now entering her third year at Fortuna.‍

The 23-year-old right-back Moïsa van Koot is pleased with her extension: "I feel very at home at Fortuna Sittard and am proud that I have been able to extend my contract by another year. After a severe injury, I have fully recovered and am ready to start the new season. I believe in the club's plans and am entering the new season with full confidence." Van Koot, a youth international from the Netherlands, is now starting her third season at Fortuna Sittard. She already returned from her injury last season, with the highlight being the KNVB Cup final.

Manager Women's Football Bo Breukers is also pleased: ''After several ladies have extended their contracts in recent weeks, it is nice to see that we have managed to retain Moïsa, a key player. This sends a strong signal to other players and the plans we have as a club.'"
